This image captures a rare moment at Eagle Lake in Acadia National Park, when the Milky Way core rose high enough to reflect clearly across calm water. Despite visiting this location many times, this was the only night I have ever witnessed visible star reflections, created by an uncommon alignment of still water, exceptional clarity, and dark skies.
